A wild elephant attacked a KSRTC bus in Munnar, Kerala on Wednesday evening, causing panic.  The locals call this elephant 'Padiyappa'.  According to reports, the bus was carrying 50 passengers from Munnar to Udumalpet.  Meanwhile, he was attacked by an elephant.

The elephant roared on the road:

Video of the incident was captured on camera.  IAS officer Supriya Sahu then shared on Twitter.  Netizens praised the driver for staying calm and handling the situation well.

Video goes viral on social media:

 Supriya Sahu wrote on Twitter, "I don't know who the driver of this government bus is, but it's definitely Mr. Fool. The way he handled the elephant, it seemed like he already knew it."  This video is going viral on social media.

 Such an incident has happened before:

 This is the second such incident in a week, reports said.  Where the same elephant attacked vehicles on the road.  Before the incident, Padyappa hit a tractor, causing a heavy traffic jam on the road.
